Rapid Prototyping skills are tested ‘to the max’ at a Hackathon!
Pitch your idea in less than 2 minutes, speed date to build a team and over the next 48 hours, build a prototype of your tech idea.
Sponsored by Philips Hue, Amazon, Rightmove, Rainmaker Loft, and organised by TechMeetUps #TMUhack; this London Event was competitive. Even so, the Hexology pitch quickly attracted a developer team who came up with an innovative concept for a mobile App.
Eateur allows you to give consumer feedback and share recommendations about your cafe or Restaurant experience. Simply scan a positive or negative tag after your meal, and the colour of the lighting changes to red, or green. This is a novel way for restaurant owners to gather instant satisfaction feedback in a visual way, and give consumers a chance to share their opinions for others to see.
Based on the hex-platform, the developer team used the Philips Hue API to integrate the Lighting effect, and the Eateur team was awarded a runner-up prize of one Philips Hue Lighting System. Thanks to Philips for the prize, all the sponsors and to TechMeetUps for organising a great, fun event!
